I tried the Oyin Handmade Burnt Sugar Pomade for one week and I have to say I really like it. The scent is delicious and the consistency of the pomade is just what I like, thick and rich. I was afraid that my hair would knot on itself after doing my Carol's Daughter Mimosa Hair Honey and Oyin Handmade Burnt Sugar Pomade face off but it didn't. These two products work differently. The Mimosa smooths the hair and reduces frizz while the Burnt Sugar adds moisture and managability to the hair.
My hair stayed moisturized along with using my Qhemet Biologics Burdock Root Butter Cream and I noticed that the Burnt Sugar thickened my hair. This is a product I can keep in rotation and the ingredients are all natural and organic.
Performance: Not a bad hair day insight! My hair stayed lush and moisturized. This is a great sealant after applying my moisturizer especially for buns and puffs. 2/2
Price: 18.00 CAD for 4 oz jar. This is a thick pomade that will last, you only need a little for each use also Oyin Handmade uses all natural organic ingredients and the scent is YUMMY! 2/2
Ingredients: Castor Oil, Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Mango Seed Oil, Olive Oil, Unrefined Hempseed Oil, Cocoa Butter, Broccoli Seed Oil, Fragrance & Love! 1/1

I want to try this but the mark up (from $10Us to $18CAD) is a no, no. Will wait until I cross the boarder.
True, it is ridiculous but better than ordering online.
Great review - I love the Burnt Sugar - although my hair soaks it up a little goes a long way :o)
how about a classic, and far less expensive, alternative? Murray's Pomade. They've got a great new program at www.murrays4change.com that gives you a chance to do a little good for a good cause while tending to your 'do
Murray's pomade has petrolatum and mineral oil as it's main ingredients. They're the worst things for your hair.
My hair loves Oyin's Burnt Sugar. It's 100% natural so I don't mind paying that much extra for it
