I love Balenciaga, they recently had their Fall/Winter show at New York Fashion Week and the main theme was drape-waisted skirts and drapery style clothing hugging the silhouette. the style of clothing was a mix between the 1940s and 60s and came across to me as vintage-chic. Balenciaga used satin, silk and velvet as the main materials and was not shy about using these materails with shoes. Overall I think the collection was inspiring, especially the shoes!
