Skin Care: My Products

My skin care regimen is pretty simple. I wash with La Roche-Posay Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cream for sensitive/combination skin in the morning and night, (you only need a very small amount to wash your face, the tube last about 4 to 5 months). I moisturize each time after cleansing with La Roche-Posay Toleriane Soothing Perfective Non-Oily Emulsion. This moisturizer is thin in consistency but is very effective for very oily skin. Lastly, I scrub my face weekly with a mixture of dark brown sugar and baking soda with a little water added to make a loose paste.

I love eye cream and right now I'm in the process of choosing one. The last one I used caused my eyes to twitch uncontrollably, I think it was the plant extract in it that was trying to tighten my skin but it became too much for me so I stopped using it. More than likely I will buy the La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Eyes.

If you live in Canada you can pick up La Roche-Posay products at your local Shoppers Drug Mart

Let me know what you use for your skin care regimen.

This is interesting. the brown sugar and baking soda mix. I will try that. thanks..

I am wondering if this product is good for imperfections.

one more thing is La Roche-Posay products by Vichy company?

Have you heard of Normaderm by Vichy?

@Trecia

The Toleriane line is for sensitive/combination skin. If you want to try La Roche-Posay for imperfections try the Physiological and Mela-D lines.

I don't think Vichy is connected to La Roche-Posay, and yes I've heard of Vichy and Normaderm.

Hope this helps!

OMG...the eye cream causes your eye to twitch...SHM Sometimes you have to wonder what in the world they put in some of these products.

I will have to try the brown sugar and baking soad mix. How long do you scrub for? I read one lady who used the baking soda along say she scrubbed for about 4 mins or so.

@Lteefaw

I know the eye cream was no joke, I still have the tube and refuse to use it again.

the scrub is great, when I first started using it it lifted out any black heads or white heads I had under my skin. Now that I use it regularly I don't get black heads as much. I scrub for about 3 to 4 mins. Its up to you how long you think you need to scrub for:)

Hope this helps
